The Kenwood AT-50 that I got came with the second Kenwood TS-50S that I purchased.

When I went through the TS-50S, I actually cracked this open and went through any capacitors this unit had and had them replaced. I also went on to troubleshoot a connection issue with the radios and it turns out that the pins were not inserted far enough for the barbs to grab in the connector and stick out prorperly on the other side. This unit works flawlessly with the TS-50S and TS-850S – which it was designed for, in retrospect – and is the exclusive tuner of the TS-50S when it is in service since the TS-850S has its own internal tuner.
