I wanted a smaller power supply, or rather not a boat anchor like all my other supplies, so I researched and ended up buying a Powerwerx SS-30DV. Steady power and low RF noise on this unit. Full power from the binding posts on the back as well as from the front Anderson PowerPole ports which is very convenient and helpful.

My ONLY gripe with this unit is with the fan when idle. The fan will attempt to run via PWM in such a low mode that it barely and gently shudders back and forth making an odd (audible) noise. I brought it up to Powerwerx support and they offered to take a look at it, but my power supply was coming up on the expiry of the warranty and I forgot about it… so now I am living with it.
